Annually, MHPR 2020 Inc., a Not-For-Profit Florida Corporation, hosts a fundraising Poker Run event, benefiting the children of Mooseheart.
Portions of the proceeds will also go towards Lake Worth Moose Lodge 994 building maintenance.
Mooseheart Child City & School, Inc. is described on its website as "Mooseheart is a residential childcare facility, located on a 1,000-acre
campus 38 miles west of Chicago. The Child City is a home for children and teens in need, from infancy through high school."
Mooseheart is a program administered by the Loyal Order of Moose, a fraternal and service organization founded in 1888 and headquartered in Mooseheart, Illinois.
Moose International has about 1 million men as members, in roughly 2,400 Lodges, in all 50 U.S. states and four Canadian provinces and Bermuda. It has an associated
female organization, Women of the Moose, with more than 400,000 members in roughly 1,600 Chapters in the same areas.
The Poker Run will consist of up to 7 different stops where participants will blindly draw 5 playing cards in hopes of forming a winning 5-card-draw poker hand.
Best hand, according to standard 5 card draw rules, will win top cash prize.
The last stop will consist of awards presentation and the After-Party.
We hope to appeal to all peoples and businesses to consider making a cash donation of any size so that we can achieve our fundraising goals for Mooseheart.
Contributions may also take the form of prize and promotional materials to be distributed to participants during event. Any contributions are not tax-deductible.
All sponsors will be acknowledged at Sponsors and linked to their websites if so desired.
